Philip A. Greenberg, Esq., who has been a litigator in the State and Federal Com1s for 52 years, has updated the course he taught two years ago. He will give the students, drawing upon his own experience and the experience of others, ways to succeed in every aspect of a trial, be it a bench or jury trial. He will show how to improve your performance, and your chances of winning, as to every aspect of the trial, by motions in limine, opening and closing statements, direct and cross-examination, and everything else that comes up from before the trial sta11s, to post-trial motions, even after the jmy has rendered its verdict.
As important as it is to win a trial, Mr. Greenberg will also show how to protect the record, so that if you win at trial, the trial victory will be affirmed on appeal. If you lose a trial, your success in winning the appeal will often depend upon whether you preserved your right to appeal the trial court's errors.
In addition, Mr. Greenberg will teach and emphasize those strategies which maximize your chances for success on appeal.
