This CLE program equips attorneys to advise clients on the legal, regulatory, and ethical issues arising from artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cryptocurrency, and is led by Andrew Bull, Esq., founder of Bull Harttraft LLP and adjunct professor of blockchain and cryptocurrency law at Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law.

By the end of the program, attorneys will be able to

(1) explain blockchain and cryptocurrency fundamentals in client-facing terms;

(2) identify the jurisdictional roles of the SEC, CFTC, and FinCEN and assess enforcement risk in light of the current administration's regulatory shift;

(3) analyze the legal treatment of smart contracts and decentralized finance (DeFi);

(4) advise on stablecoin regulation under the GENIUS Act, cryptocurrency ETFs, and digital asset custody and tokenization;

(5) navigate the developing landscape of federal and state AI regulation; and

(6) comply with the professional responsibility duties set out in ABA Formal Opinion 512 when using generative AI in legal practice.
