Decision making capacity and professional responsibility should be at the top of every attorney's list, especially when serving in the role of a trustee. The presenter combines her exposure to and experience in private wealth management at Goldman Sachs coupled with her experience as an attorney, who also teaches bioethics at Baylor College of Medicine to address fundamental considerations for attorneys and clients alike, regardless of their role in the "trust triangle". The "trust triangle" can be thought of as the grantor, trustee and beneficiary. Professionals may be a trustee or serve as part of a team to ensure that the trust is being managed correctly.
The webinar delves deep into both decision-making capacity nuances, related documents and a lawyer's ethical considerations, as well as notable cases.
