Different situations call for different tactics. Sometimes, the parties are both amenable to seeking a reasonable settlement or solution that both parties can live with. Other times, a party will believe it is a one-way street and not give any information while continually asking for more – more information and more money.

The purpose of this program is to lay the foundation for negotiations in different legal settings with a variety of different players.

Objectives:

  1. Appreciate different approaches to negotiations.
  2. Understand the personality types of both lawyers and their clients.
  3. Learn how to assess and implement core strategies in different legal settings.
